1. Curv's role
Curv Travel Design Ltd ("Curv") acts as a travel-design firm: we plan, book, and operate luxury journeys on behalf of our clients. Curv coordinates and contracts with third-party suppliers — airlines, hotels, charter operators, restaurants, event venues, drivers, guides, and others — but does not own most of the underlying services. Where we operate something directly (private events, retreats), it is clearly stated.
2. Quotes & bookings
Every Curv quote follows a structured format that includes the total price, currency, travel dates, inclusions, exclusions, cancellation policy, and price-validity expiry. A quote becomes a booking only when (a) you have explicitly accepted it in writing or via the Curv approval flow, and (b) we have received the agreed deposit or full payment per the quote terms.
Until both conditions are met, prices and availability remain provisional and subject to supplier confirmation. Currency exchange may apply where suppliers invoice in a currency other than the quote currency; we will surface this clearly in the quote.
3. Pre-confirmation review
Before any non-refundable booking is committed, Curv presents a Pre-Confirmation summary covering all locked terms — dates, room/cabin/vehicle types, cancellation deadlines, total cost, and any non-refundable deposits. We require your explicit written approval (electronic signature or written reply) before crossing the supplier deadline. Bookings made past this point are subject to supplier cancellation policies.
4. Cancellation & refunds
Cancellation rights and refunds are governed by the specific suppliers operating each component. Curv presents these clearly in every quote and Pre-Confirmation summary. Curv's own design and operating fees, where charged separately, are non-refundable once work has commenced.
5. Travel insurance
Curv strongly recommends comprehensive travel insurance covering medical, evacuation, trip-cancellation, baggage and force-majeure events. We can introduce you to specialist brokers but do not act as an insurance intermediary ourselves.
6. Travel documents, visas & entry requirements
Clients are responsible for ensuring valid passports, visas, vaccinations and entry requirements for every destination and connecting country. Curv provides best-available guidance but final responsibility rests with the traveller. Where we hold passport copies on file, they are stored securely and used only for booking purposes.
7. Liability
Curv is responsible for the design and coordination of your trip with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for failures, delays, or losses caused by suppliers, force-majeure events (weather, civil unrest, pandemic-related restrictions), or matters outside our reasonable control. Where supplier failures occur, we will use reasonable efforts to source alternatives at the supplier's cost where possible.
8. Behaviour & safety
Curv reserves the right to decline or cease service where a client's behaviour endangers staff, suppliers, or other guests, or breaks local law. In such cases, refunds follow supplier cancellation policies; Curv's fees are non-refundable.
9. Privacy
Personal data is handled per our Privacy Policy. We comply with GDPR, CCPA and applicable UAE data-protection law.
10. Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Dubai, except where applicable consumer-protection law of the client's country of residence requires otherwise.
11. Changes to these terms
Curv may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to active clients. Continued use of Curv's services after notification constitutes acceptance.
