Dining & Experiences

Three-Michelin reservations and after-hours museum access through partnership channels — not the resale market.

Restaurants, private guides, museums, workshops, in-villa chefs. The relationships built in person over many years across our specialty regions.

What Curv actually does

  1. Restaurant access at peak season — including same-day

Three Michelin in Tokyo on a Saturday, Da Vittorio for ten on a Friday in August, Le Bernardin's chef's table — handled. We say so when something is genuinely impossible (Sukiyabashi Jiro's main counter, currently) instead of pretending.

  2. Private guides specialising in art, archaeology, gastronomy

A Caravaggio walk in Rome with a Vatican-credentialed scholar, the Acropolis with the archaeologist who excavated it, a Tokyo izakaya crawl with a former chef from Den. Sourced through our network, not through TripAdvisor.

  3. After-hours museum and gallery openings

The Borghese alone for ninety minutes, the Uffizi at sunset, the Getty Villa with the curator. Negotiated on relationships and donor history, not as a transactional buyout.

  4. In-villa chefs and tasting events

Private chefs sourced via our restaurant relationships — not from a chef-marketplace. Cooking, distilling, perfume, tea ceremony, omakase masterclasses with the masters who actually teach.

  5. Honest "we could not get it" calls

Some seats genuinely cannot be bought. We tell you. Then we propose the alternative we would actually book ourselves.

Three days in Rome around an anniversary

A couple, mid-fifties, lifelong Romeophiles, third visit, ten-year anniversary. Brief: nothing they have done before, no buses, no headphones. Day one: a private dawn at the Colosseum and Forum with an archaeologist friend who runs site digs in Ostia, then a long lunch at Pierluigi at the table they prefer (third on the right, against the wall). Afternoon nap. Evening at the Caravaggio chapel inside San Luigi dei Francesi with a Jesuit historian who ran us through what the painter was up to in 1600 — twenty minutes the rest of the church will never get. Anniversary dinner at La Pergola, table 14 with the river view, a bottle of Salon they had on their first wedding-night dinner pulled from the cellar by name. Day two: the Borghese alone for ninety minutes (a friend's donor relationship), Bernini sculpture you can put your hand twelve inches from, then a chef's table lunch at Spazio Niko Romito while Niko himself was in the kitchen for a launch week. Day three: a wine drive into Frascati with a sommelier who is also a friend — three estates, no tour buses, supper at the third in the cellar. They went home and cried at the airport. We did three things they did not know they wanted.

C

Honest fit

This is for you if

  • Trips where the dinner reservations and the museum visits are the trip
  • Repeat visitors to a city who have done the obvious circuits
  • Clients with specific intellectual interests we can match a guide to
  • Anniversary, milestone, and "the kids are away" trips

This is not for you if

  • First-time visitors to a major capital — sometimes a bus tour is genuinely correct
  • Clients on a points-and-miles optimisation trip
  • Cities outside our network where we have nothing to add over a hotel concierge
  • Trips where the pace would not let any of this breathe

Frequent questions

Can you guarantee a specific reservation?

We can confirm with relationships in our specialty regions and major capitals. Outside that we are honest: we can request, we can chase, we can swap to a peer if it falls through. We will not falsely promise a seat we cannot lock.

How far ahead do we need to plan?

Three Michelin in peak season (Christmas, valentines, anniversary weeks) — at least 60 days. Off-peak, two weeks is comfortable. After-hours museum access — typically 6-8 weeks.

Do you take a fee for restaurant bookings?

Restaurant reservations are usually included as part of a broader trip booking. As a standalone service for clients we do not otherwise serve, we charge a flat-fee subscription. We will tell you which bucket your request falls into.

What is your specialty region?

Italy, Türkiye, the Levant (Israel, Jordan, Egypt), the Gulf (UAE, KSA, Oman), and South-East Asia (Thailand, Indonesia, Japan). Outside these, we are competent through partners — not personally credentialed.
